Charles started his career in the roofing industry as a teenager, installing asphalt shingle roofs in Western North Carolina. After college, he became a commercial roofing estimator. Through almost three decades of real-world experience, Charles is well respected among peers for his breadth of knowledge involving all types of roofing applications to include single ply, modified bitumen, slate, tile, asphalt shingle, standing seam and soffit/wall panels.

In his free time, Charles enjoys spending time with his wife and young adult sons traveling, watching Indianapolis Colts football games or simply taking in a movie. You can also likely find Charles hiking, running an obstacle course race or on a golf course.
